Based on reports received from several citizens about people illegally collecting parking fees for private boats at the old Sidon port, a patrol from the Sidon Municipal Police immediately headed to the mentioned location. They checked the facts and seized the parking receipt books being used. The identities of the individuals involved were verified, and the necessary legal actions were taken against them. The offenders were informed that they must come to the municipality to complete the legal procedures and were warned not to repeat this violation under the risk of legal prosecution. Sidon Municipality emphasizes that collecting fees on public property without authorization or legal permit is considered an offense punishable by law. Citizens are urged not to pay any money to any unauthorized person or entity and to report any similar violations to the municipality or the municipal police immediately so that appropriate action can be taken.
