Under the Supervision of the Municipality of Sidon and the Generator Sector Regulation Committee: Management of the Generator Network in the Rijal Al-Arbaeen Neighborhood Transferred from “Al-Masdar Subscriptions” to “Al-Akawi Subscriptions”

As part of its ongoing efforts to regulate the private generator sector, protect subscribers’ rights, and ensure stable electricity supply, the Municipality of Sidon oversaw the transfer of management of the generator network in the Rijal Al-Arbaeen neighborhood from “Al-Masdar Subscriptions” to “Al-Akawi Subscriptions.” Both parties appeared at the Sidon Municipality building and submitted to Mr. Ahmad Choueib, Head of the Municipality’s Generator Sector Regulation Committee, a copy of the agreement signed between them, which was officially documented.
The Municipality of Sidon wishes to inform the valued citizens subscribed to the service in this area that the transfer of management will not impose any costs on them. “Al-Akawi Subscriptions” will replace the boxes, meters, and circuit breakers where necessary, at no cost to subscribers.
Accordingly, and based on the explicit commitment by the management of “Al-Akawi Generators” to install meters exclusively, without fixed-rate subscriptions, issue official invoices, fully comply with the municipality’s monthly tariff, work on organizing and rehabilitating the public network, and undertake the lighting of the neighborhood’s streets, the Municipality of Sidon approved the agreement to transfer management of the network, reaffirming its continued supervisory and field role to ensure the best services for residents and inhabitants of the area. qthxrh sḥsht
